The Prize
A prize will be awarded to the most original partnership between immunological research (scientists or institutes) and education (individual students or schools). The main goals of the submission should be to effectively introduce immunology to an educational setting and foster a better understanding of immunology. The Projects have to be Fascinating
Teachers and students should become interested and enthusiastic about immunological research.
Informative
The successful project should be created to give students and teachers a better understanding of immunology.
Exciting
Science education programs at all levels should be approached, demonstrating the excitement of carrying out health-related research.Jury EFIS Board Members, education representative from the European Commission, and a journalist |
Eligibility
Teams formed by immunologists (individual scientists or institutes) and schools (teachers and students). Prize The winning submission will receive 1,500 € and an invitation to the European Congress of Immunology (ECI) in Paris, September 6–9, 2006. Winners will be announced during an award ceremony at the ECI 2006. As additional prizes, free subscriptions to journals in the field of Immunology will be awarded.
